West Harlem Development Corporation announced the parameters for its 2015 grant cycles at a public meeting on March 26. For the first time, the organization plans to launch large, multi-year grants focused on the areas of education, workforce and economic development and housing. WHDC will continue its one-year grants, introducing a cap on the amount ($25,000) and a cap on the organizational budget of the applicant ($1 million). Both cycles are in line with WHDC’s Strategic Plan, which was adopted at a January board retreat.
