The West Harlem Development Corporation (WHDC) is pleased to announce the 2021 Community Benefits Grants cycle (2021 CBG), awarding two million dollars to 501(c)3 nonprofit organizations (NPOs) headquartered in Manhattan Community District 9 (MCD9), as well as to outside NPOs whose projects meet the MCD9 residency requirement (at least 75% of project participants must reside in MCD9).
WHDC’s 2021 CBG funds programs in the priority areas of:
- Health and Human Services
- Housing Affordability & Preservation
- Economic Development and Community Engagement
- Youth and Seniors Services
- Arts and Culture
Applications are now CLOSED. Grant awards are determined on a competitive basis. Award amounts, based on community impact, will be made in one of two application types: Sole or Collaborative Applicants. Support funds are designed to enable a non-profit organization to direct program activities between September 1, 2021 and June 30, 2022.
