West Harlem Development Corporation (WHDC) is proud to announce the Columbia University scholarships for the 2025 Little Lions Summer Camp for children ages 6 – 12. Winning applicants will receive three FREE week sessions in the Columbia University Little Lions Camp – Summer 2025 at the Dodge Fitness Center (3030 Broadway, Manhattanville)
APPLICATIONS ARE NOW CLOSED
Each camp session runs Monday – Friday unless otherwise indicated:
6/16 – 6/18 (no camp 6/19 – Juneteenth or 6/20)
6/23 – 6/27
6/30– 7/3 (no camp 7/4 – 4th July)
7/7 – 7/11
7/14 – 7/18
7/21 – 7/25
8/28 – 8/1
Due to the high volume of applicants, only selected recipients will be notified to complete a camp application, medical form signed by a healthcare provider and current proof of CD9 residency. We stand firm on protecting the privacy of applicants and do not share information with outside entities.
Availability is first come first serve. Camp sessions will be confirmed by Columbia University.
The scholarships are for Manhattan Community District 9 (MCD9) residents only. MCD9 runs from 110th Street until 155th Street from the Hudson River to an eastern boundary along Manhattan, Morningside, St. Nicholas, Bradhurst, and Edgecombe Avenues.
Additional information about awarded scholarships
Scholarships do not cover any additional services such as; early drop off/ late pick up, transportation, and lunch.
We require that the participant keep at least an 80% attendance rate, and communicate immediately if he/she/they will be unable to fulfill this requirement as WHDC wants to give local families the opportunity to take advantage of the camp.
Scholarship recipients can only participate in one WHDC sponsored summer camp.
