2022 CBG Application is now closed

The West Harlem Development Corporation (WHDC) is pleased to announce the 2022 Community Benefits Grants cycle (2022 CBG), awarding two million dollars to 501(c)3 nonprofit organizations (NPOs) headquartered in West Harlem, as well as to outside NPOs whose projects meet the MCD9 residency requirement (at least 75% of project participants must reside in West Harlem/Community District 9).
WHDC’s 2022 CBG funds programs in the priority areas of:
- Arts and Culture
- Economic Development
- Health and Human Services
- Housing Affordability & Preservation
- Older Adults Services
- Youth
Applications are now open. Grant awards are determined on a competitive basis. Award amounts are based on community impact, and will be made in one of two application types: Sole or Collaborative Applicants. Support funds are designed to enable a non-profit organization to direct program activities between September 1, 2022 and June 30, 2022.
