WHDC Launches RFPs to Benefit West Harlem

West Harlem Development Corporation announces the availability of approximately $1,050,000 in grant funds for programs in the areas of education, affordable housing and workforce development that benefit West Harlem/Community District 9. Approximately 13 to 21 total grants will be awarded. To view/respond to the Requests for Proposals (RFPs), click here.
We will hold an optional RFP Information Session on Friday, Oct. 30 from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Presidential Ballroom in Columbia University’s Faculty House, 64 Morningside Drive (between 116th and 118th Streets). RSVP here.
In addition, there will be a conference call on Wednesday, Nov. 4 from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org by 5 p.m. on Nov. 3 to receive instructions for the call.
Potential respondents may also email questions to email@example.com until midnight Nov. 5. WHDC will answer emailed questions by posting frequently asked questions and answers to its website on Tuesday, Nov. 10.
Respondents are strongly encouraged to submit a Notice of Intent to Apply (indicating which RFP you will respond to and clearly stating your nonprofit’s name) by Monday, Nov. 9 to firstname.lastname@example.org.
The deadline to submit a proposal is Monday, Nov. 30 at 5 p.m. Notification of Awards is Thursday, Dec. 31.
