WHDC is pleased to announce that funding provided to the Harlem Renaissance Education Pipeline has assisted in helping to launch the 1st of its 10-week Parenting Journey Workshop Series in West Harlem.

The workshop will be conducted from Tuesday, April 17th until Tuesday, June 19th and is open to all parents who have children in School District 5.  HREP’s goal for this 180-day plan is to improve parent engagement and train parents to navigate through the NYC public school system.

HREP is proud to have committee member, Dr. Sanayi Beckles-Canton moderating the training and providing the educational tools needed to help parents be more involvement in the school district.

Upon completion in June, participants will be a part of a graduation ceremony to share with family and friends.
